Tire balancing beads.

Featured Replies

I've been running Dynabeads for 16000km in my ceeber150

With good results.

Told the mech to recover them when I bought new tires,

Iwas thInking he would reinstall them with the new rubber,

but maybe papa didn't explicitly tell him such.

Anyway, he used conventional weights and handed me the beads is a plastic bag.

Cost from CRSaddlebags is 950baht,= 3 oz @ 300baht plus shipping.

Papa saw very similar "better" product on Ebay, 15 oz for 1500baht, delivered.

Enough for five small bikes, @300baht each.

Interesting vids on YouTube.

Camera mounted on handlebars of scooter before n after to illustrate vibration reduction.

Other good vids too.

Future=now.

papa put the recycled beads (from the ceeber) in an old 650KLR and ran it @ + 100mph, felt fine.

Kinda sold on the beads.

Bloke down our road uses a cup full of rice...

30,000 km and no problems...

beware of expensive imitations i say...

They are a good idea, maybe I will try them someday.
