I like Central Mall as well, good res to choice from, from the cheap Charlie food court to much better ones on 4-5 floor.

The Glass house res out in Na Jomtien is a very nice place, the beach is nice and almost empty, so nice taking a walk there after lunch, under shade from big old trees.

I like my house too, nice and peacefull, well at least untill my 6 year old son comes home from school, LOL.

My favorite place is anywhere that isn't Pattaya.

Why someone would choose to live there is beyond my powers of comprehension. I'd rather live in Iraq.

Pattaya is paradise on earth, and also the most popular local forum on Thaivisa.

Just to give us an idea of where you're coming from, allow me to ask you 2 questions:

1. Do you live in Thailand

2. If so, where?

A lot of married guys seem to have problems here.

Used to frequent same on the klang but was as then carrefour with some of the most cheap charlies I ever saw sitting in the food court area drinking beer purchased from outside watching the free tv or a video from the video shop that was once there, stealing wads of tissue from the dispenser because toilet paper expensive at 10 baht a roll oh yeah forgot to mention the free water top up they used to get from the dispenser not all Farangs Thai also, wonderful memories of my first days in pattaya.

Not saying you are one of those people but watch and learn amazing and humorous what can be seen.

Yes I forgot the scramble to the second floor to be the first to get hold of the buy 1 get 1 free items at the appointed time.

Ahhhhhhhhh....you just brought back some fond memories, exactly as you described it. 5555 .....Nice one.

My favourite place in Pattaya is the road leading out to Sattahip

PS, You could have added "Tops".

Yes I could have done but bore you not is my motto, lol.

TQ beach road 4 years a go, Crap lighting there now

for the stage, give it a miss now days.

a real crap gogo for sure.

My two fave places in pattaya are:

808 and Insomnia

How's your hearing, or do you use earplugs? Went there (Insomnia) once a few weeks ago and have never hated being somewhere as much as I hated being there. I understand it's freelancers' paradise for guys looking for bargain "flings" early in the morning after most other places have already closed as it's open until 7am, but there are quieter places to find a honey where you won't risk hearing loss.... and as if that wasn't loud enough I discovered that Marine Disco is twice as loud again.

LOL. Now it's your turn... my favourite place in Pattaya is that mall everyone loves to hate - Central Mall.biggrin.png

Nothing wrong with Central Festival - apart from turning the aircon down a bit and lowering the volume in that awful games area near the cinema escalator.

I already offered to buy him a one-way ticket to Baghdad, but surprise, surprise, he didn't take me up on my generous offer.

Do you mean making the temperature warmer or cooler? The temperature is one of the reasons I like it there.

Theres a balcony in a hotel that costs only 700 baht a night with the most spectacular views of the bay some amazing sunsets in the evening. I can get up and buy some food in the morning from local vendors and have a delicious breakfast with my gf. We just come down from bangkok for a quick cheap getaway now and again. I used to come down when i was single and stay in naklua in hotels for less and find around sois 14 or so still very convinient and a bit quieter. Fav eateries assorted street vendors and that thai restaurant that is popular at big c opposite honey 2 massage and i can ammuse myself looking at 2 huge buildings of pleasure ..only in pattaya. :)

Having a great breakfast at the Café Pascal on Second Road.

Swiss restaurant.

Gorge yourself for B200.

Going for a walk at 6am. Cool air, then going to a Norwegian restaurant for excellent coffee.

Browsing the bookshops,

Check out the go go bars, then an icy cold Heineken.

Got to be Paradise! lol

All the people that hate Pattaya , must have a very dull life

to bother to come here and slag it off. nothing better to do. saai.gif

Do you all like Trains, or do you have friends that like Trains. giggle.gif

LOL, my thoughts exactly, have to wonder about the haters. I suppose it gives them something to do before opening the next Chang Yai and watching another Thai soap
