I just installed KODI Isengard on a mini computer (ATOM Z3537F @ 1.33 GHz 2GB / 20GB). The files are on NAS, When I'm playing a movie the image is good no problem but for the sound there is a 1s blank every 3s. The sound is still synchro with the picture, just this very annoying 1s blank every 3s. Does anybody has an explanation ? And a fix ...

I read the files on the NAS using VLC without problem, so it seems to be really a kodi problem

  • 2 weeks later...

There is a known bug in Kodi on Android

where the sound cuts in just the way you describe

when Enable Passthru is selected on the Audio menu

The button allows digital audio to go straight to the AV amp for decoding
