Heavy Rain

Featured Replies

News Clipping Forum has Rayong declared a disaster area and JaiDee has posted a general weather warning for the East. Anyone noticed any preperations for impending downpours in Patters ? :o

Quite a bit of sand bagging in the known spots, Pattaya Klang, Soi Buakhou area but that might have been left over from the down pours a couple of weeks ago. Nothing different down Walking Street last night though.

Interesting test for the City's father's. Proactivity or watch the citizens/tourists learn to swim the hard way.

"Disaster Area?!"

The sky looks hazy but I just can't imagine too much rain coming down. The level of preparedness is evident especially on soi Buakow with the 2-3 levels of sandbags.

A beauty salon recovers quickly but convenience stores with all their produce near the floor gets it bad.

After the last storm, teams of friends were helping some stores clean up and their shop lights were off.

intresting :o we have no water here on beach road jomtien since 12 noon to day and it was only days ago that the experts said no more water probs PLUS CHANTHABURI AND RAYONG under water :D

I think we have been fortunate in Pattaya. Not as much rain as Bangkok, Rayong And Chantaburi received from the tail end of the Cyclone that moved down from Vietnam.
