Hi all,

Any recommendation for renovation contractor for flooring,tiling,plumbing,electrical works,installation works, welding and painting?

Previously I hired a few freelance local contractor for my work and its a nightmare.. a simple project, they drag 4 month to complete.

Tried interior design company before and their price for simple job was sky high.

Hoping you guys could recommend some reasonable and good work contractors for my coming project.

My location is in Phuket town

No bro, sorry for the misunderstanding, No knock down or rebuild, just installation only

Cheap & good contractor is a contradiction in terms in Thailand mate..

Any contractor who is "good" are working for decent money in Bangkok or other cities in the South,

the rest are anything from cheap to expensive & like any cowboy builders anywhere will tell you that they can do whatever you want them to Mai Pen Rai, & then proceed to F*%k it up, rip you off etc...

If you pay peanuts, you get Monkeys, unless your luck & Karma is extremely good.....

True, I did encounter some local cowboy builders during my first project and their works totally sucks.

But other than the local, there a group of myanmar that did real good job but only problem was they had no wp so

will it be a risk if I engage them for my project?

BTW anyone here tried Phuket Home Services before?

As they say in most things when it comes to cheap, good and quick you can only ever have 2 out of the three.

One issue you're facing is your job isn't a big job which the better contractors like to do. I don't know of any busy good contractors that will take on a hundred thousand baht job, when they prefer million baht plus jobs, so that leaves the lower tier quality contractors for the lower cost jobs, or else as you've aready seen, a very high price for a small amount of work required.
