The Exhibition of the Royal Visits

Featured Replies

This exhibition of historic photographs, which was inaugurated in the presence of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in Bangkok last November, is now displayed at the Chiangrai Hills Stadium in Maechan, Chiangrai.

While the extra large photographs of this exhibition tend to concentrate on the journeys of HM King Bhumibol to Belgium and HM King Baudouin in Thailand, they also include Queen Sirikit, Queen Fabiola, King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, and Princess Lilian.

The Bangkok exhibition was part of an important series of events celebrating the long lasting good relationship between Thailand and Belgium.

On the occasion of the celebrations, HRH Princess Soamsawali also attended a glamorous gala dinner, and HRH Princess Esmeralda of Belgium made the journey to Thailand to attend several events.

The photographs will be on display at the Chiangrai Hills Stadium till January the 10th 2016.

To reach the stadium, turn right at the Maechan post office intersection. After about 1,5km, the stadium is on the right.
