Patong has potable water out of the tap. It says so on that sign almost at the bottom of Patong hill on the Kathu side, so, it must be true.

I bought a simple 3-filter system from Home Pro and fitted it myself.

We use the well water to make coffee, tea and to cook with. The filtered water is for drinking.

No ill effects in a year so far.
