December 7, 201510 yr I went through Immigration yesterday at Swampy and noticed stacks of free DTAC SIMs placed by the window of each kiosk. I took a few and tried one out today. Clear instructions in several languages included with SIM. Put it into a phone, turned it on and a stream of SMS's quickly followed, one with the assigned phone number and another with B15 credit. Another gives a * number to dial for registration. Data plan available, 45 day expiration that is extended with each top-up. If anybody has friends arriving who'll need SIMs, tell them to keep an eye out...not a bad deal.
