Won't let me attach an image....

S hook ends....Either ratchet down or tension like an

lap seatbelt....

I know I've seen them → just don't know where....

I've checked Big C, Home Pro, Global, Thaiwatsadu with no luck....

I've seen em at Thai Whatsadu, you should look again.

Which section? Was all over the tool - auto - hardware/chain/plumbing - misc - garden & electrical departments and nary a glimpse....

I think the OP should start with a trip to the opticians.

in Global also; very end aisle with the heavy bolts, scaffold clips etc

You might be right - but I'm near sighted....Possible after not finding where I'm looking I'm just missing them....Tried asking at Home Pro today but just got some blank giggles from the gals there in hardware.....

Kind of typical of here....Had some chain cut to size → but the only S hooks they had were plastic....

Sometimes the hunt is more fun than at other times.....

Steel S hooks right next to the chain at Home Pro Sansai. Bought them 2 weeks ago.

Montri Hardware, corner of Chang Puak Rd and the Superhighway, south-east corner.

That is an amazing place that stocks everything under the sun. And the people who work there know just where to find whatever it is you want. Been driving past it for years. I finally stopped in there to purchase some hardware about 8 months ago and was so impressed. I've been back 3 times since. Parking is inside the place.

Was the same for me just saw it as 8 little shops for years until i was searching for drainage fittings.

Then you go inside i couldnt leave the place. Biggest range of pumps; guys fixing strimmers and gennys. I think the only thing they didnt have was what i wanted.....some 3inch perforated land drain....mot liao!

The best way I have found to look for things like that is to type into Google translate or similar in English then copy/paste both the the English and Thai onto MS Word, then go to Google and get a photo and do a copy/paste again and show the shop staff that and they will usually know what you are talking about and take you to it.

It works for me.

Did find the straps at ThaiWatsadu as we just happened to be up the road....They don't stock S hooks though → went armed with pics.....

Possibly these tie downs are long enough so not to need the chain extensions I had cut.....

Thanks everyone for chiming in....We asked for tie down straps before and they were lost in translation .... Today they called it a Belt → which it pretty much is......
