I'm told that school classes are normal here Christmas day. The only ASEAN country I think.

It probably applies to Loy Kroh as well, apparently business hasnt been great of late and some foundations are beginning to dry up / crack.

No doubt some punters will say many of the old hags dried up ages ago.

Sorry if thats a bit over the top.

Of course it's a holiday for those who choose to celebrate it, but in Thailand it's not a day off for government or most businesses.

NIce catch Gonzo. Of course the proper phrase is' get laid'. I am sure they will change it soon.

could have been worse,

etc....

Not only a bad headline for the double entendre, but for being passive voice -- a general no-no for headlines.
