I will be getting married in about 3 weeks.

I am reading that one of things required is a birth certificate.

I don't have one.

I am a Canadian citizen, but was born in another country. I don't remember even Canada asking me for this when I applied for residency.

What can I do in this case?

Also, it says income from abroad is required. Fortunately I was paying tax for the past 2 years while living in Thailand. Will the assessment from Canada Revenue Agency be sufficient? Can I also just print it out from the website, or it has to be mailed in?

Thanks

Where are you reading these things? I (UK) did not need a birth certificate and nobody asked about income. I did need my UK divorce papers but apart from that and my passport nothing extra.

Your passport is proof of your birth and income is just a question on the normal form AFAIK. There is no requirement.

Canada information is here

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/thailand-thailande/consular_services_consulaires/marriage_thailand-marier_thailande.aspx?lang=eng

1. Affirm/swear an affidavit of freedom to marry (1 morning)
Complete an English affidavit form at the Embassy, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to noon.
A fee of CAD $50 is payable for this notary service, payable in CAD, USD or THB. We can provide this service for Canadian citizens only. Please bring your passport.
If you are divorced or widowed, please provide an original divorce or death certificate.
Affidavits completed in French will have to be translated into English for Thai authorities.
