After losing yet another expensive phone I decided to buy a cheaper AIS Lava phone, as I figured at this point technology is cheap so what difference does it make. Right off I discovered the camera is crap. I thought it was odd that a Thai company making phones for selfie obsessed Thai's wouldn't put a little effort into the phone. Then I looked at photo's taken with a friends Lava phone (same one) and his pictures are perfect so I brought my phone back to the telewiz shop, where they told me to take it to another one where they stared at it awhile and told me there was nothing to do it, maybe they suggested I should take it back to the shop that told me to bring it to them. So I called AIS where the woman told me to take to the original shop where I bought it and they would send it to service center to check the camera, this will take a month. Someone suggested it may be fixed by downloading an app, that it is a software problem not hardware, anyone aware of what app that might be, anyone else have this problem, it must be common because the first thing they said when I brought it into the shop is camera problem?

How long have you had the phone. If less than 7 days. Just tell them to change it. If less than 30 days and you can confirm a fault. I'm pretty sure they STILL need to change it. If older than 30 days then it needs repair.. Probably just a firmware update.. Check with your friend what firmware he has. It's in settings. About phone. Example

Friend bought a Lava phone at AIS in Siam Paragon. After a couple of months the touchscreen died. When she took it back to the same location, they gave her a new one without any argument.

I recently bought one of the AIS Lava phones for staff use from an AIS shop. They had to go through three of them before they found one that would charge when plugged in. That was sort of a worry, but no problems so far after two weeks of use.
