Northern Thai phrases?

Hi all. I have a Northern Thai friend (from Chiang Rai) who is learning English with me. It'd be great if I could say a few NT phrases to her. So, I was wondering if you guys know a book or a website that has Northern Thai phrases for English speakers?

I don't know much about Northern Thai, but Kru Jan sometimes has posts on Northern Thai (https://www.facebook.com/learnthaiwithkrujan). She's a native speaker. She's also just made a video on Youtube where she says a few Northern Thai phrases. (Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRxZc0usIx4) You should check it out, so you can hear the pronunciation.

For a few beginning phrases, try this youtube video. It'll help you say hello and couple of other simple phrases in Northern Thai (Kam Muang, Lanna Thai, Yuan).

"Thai Yuan" is considered pejorative and best avoided as a term.
