might make me sound weird, i was never into the bar or sex industry scene (tbh i never had trouble finding a gf), but back in the day i did like to wander the red light area just watching what was going on. the therme was an interesting place to sit, have a drink and just watch, i witnessed the slow change as the japanese guys took over, after that it ceased to be interesting. -

Questioned about my underwear at a Police checkpoint.
New member, and over 130 posts in a week, and now you come up with this piece of unbelievable rubbish. A Thai policeman actually said "wait a minute, are you wearing underpants" and " No thanks, have a good day". Thai police just don't talk like that. At least your amazing posts gives many of the AN posters many laughs for the day. 😂 -

Connect an inverter to the mains
Thanks for replies. Wouldn't actually call it a goal in life. I am 'researching' an alternative solution to a UPS. Household UPS only provides like 15 mins of operation time on the PC. When I added a couple more identicall batteries to my UPS it worked for a short while till the UPS stopped switching. One simple solution for me would be to have my critical equipment connected seperately to an inverter, running all the time or only plugged in when needed.
