I don't know what you think but my first guess would be: FATSO by Dom Deluise

Big Trouble in Little China has to be watched more than once to catch all the funny stuff.

I think 'Airplane' is the funniest film I have ever seen. You can watch it over and over and still see new things.

Other "funnies"

What did you do in the war daddy?"

Gotcha

Dead men don't wear plaid

Cat Ballou

and not forgetting (just for York(y)ie), " The Life of Brian."

So many great comedies it's nearly impossible to pick a favorite.

The Blues Brothers

Blazing Saddles

There's something about Mary

Dumb & Dumber

A Fish called Wanda

Caddyshack

Midnight Run

Planes, Trains & Automobiles

Vacation

Airplane

The Big Lebowski

and so many more.................. :o

......and not forgetting (just for York(y)ie), " The Life of Brian."

Total Classic, watch again and again on DVD. BRILLIANT

beverly hills cops collection

airplane ( the autopilot floating around the cabin ), life of brian ( biggus dickus ) are two of my favourites.

some of the earlier "carry on " films seem to improve with age. so corny , but that peculiarly british style of delivery as practised by that ensemble is just priceless.

a fish called wanda ( the squashed dogs) is always worth a re run too.

Airplane also for me. "I've got a drinking problem" was a classic joke...

The Meaning Of Life is also a winner.

Being There with Peter Sellers, and most of the Pink Panther films

Woody Allen has also made some verr funny movies but also some very dire ones.

Life of Brian, The Holy Grail. Airplane, Hot Shots and the original Pink Panthers

Withnail and I

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Life of Brian

Blazing Saddles

Return of the Pink Panther

Napolean Dynamite ( Shouldn't have liked it but I did....... :o )

Meet the Parents 1 and 2 - De Niro singing Puff the Magic dragon kills me and when he wears the false tits....

Napolean Dynamite ( Shouldn't have liked it but I did....... :o )

i don't know how funny it was. More like weird - anyway, I liked it too!

south park: bigger longer uncut

best in show

groundhog day

Weird Science ain't my favorite, but I didn't see it here. :-)

I've acquired a copy of Napolean Dynamite that if you turn on the English subtitles it suddenly get very funny. The talented English teacher turn pirate knows about 20 words. One of the is the F word. Dude, it's used in almost every sentence in ways that even I never thought of!!

Oh Oh Oh! I forgot... then I saw my avatar

"Stewie The Untold Story" mucho laugho innit.

Animal House, Animal House and Animal House. This is the funniest movie in history I think.

others:

Team America

South Park Movie

Beavis and Butthead Do America (well of course)

Cable Guy

Something About Mary

The Big Lebowski is a favorite.

All the monty python films

A fish called Wanda

but the best IMO in the last few years was Kevin and Perry go Wild with Harry Enfield..laughed until I stopped. :o

We have similar tastes in Movies, I'd have to add Blazing saddles!

Being There with Peter Sellers, and most of the Pink Panther films

Peter Sellers.

The Party was brilliant, but the Pink Panther Movies were Better.

We..he..heh..heh..ell..... to paraphrase Sellers;

In terms of actual movie making though, I will stick with Sellers, for he was in Kubrick's Masterpiece of Comedy:

How I learned to Dr. Strangelove or How I learnt to stop worrying and love the bomb

President Merkin Muffley: Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room.
[strangelove's plan for post-nuclear war survival involves living underground with a 10:1 female-to-male ratio]

General "Buck" Turgidson: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?

Dr. Strangelove: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious... service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.

Ambassador de Sadesky: I must confess, you have an astonishingly good idea there, Doctor.

and so much more.

Kubrick & Sellers (& Blake Edwards)

R.I.P. and thanks for all the laughs.
