Hello, I've found this forum in my last minute researching into a getaway adventure.

Im English/French 29 M, after years of starting up a business in London UK, I finally have a gap in my work life and am booking a flight to Bangkok in the next few days. I'll be over for 2 weeks.

If anyone can give me any useful advise...

Hotel when i get to Bangkok.

Good/trusted motorbike hire in Bangkok.

Places to visit if they were me.

I grew up in KL and Singapore before leaving for UK aged 13. I use a forum like this in the UK and have always found the people very friendly and helpful, if anyone has anything to say! please reply!

I'd say come up north - there are loads of beautiful & good quality roads through the mountains in the north. The weather's a bit cooler & life in general is more laid back than around BKK. You can rent bikes easily in Chiang Mai. Check out gt-rider.com for advice & ideas on routes, etc. Good luck & enjoy.
