Ko Samet

Featured Replies

Is there a bus/van that goes to Ko Samet? How much does it cost? How long does it take? I read in the tour book that Ao Vong Duan beach was the place to go and Vong Deuan Resort was the place to stay. What do you guys think?

It depends what you want - whether you want to chill out or party etc. The good thing is that it is so small you can just wander from beach to beach and see what takes your fancy..

I always got the organised bus thing which stupidly is more expensive from Pattaya than Bangkok!!

I have always used Malibu Samet Travel Pattaya soi 13/1

500 baht return including ferry ticket

I prefer Sai Keaw the sand is like coffee mate or fresh snow and crunches under foot

As Tufty says Malibu Travel can organise it all for you they have their own mini buses , ferry and resort on Vong Duan beach.

Ive stayed at Vong Duan resort and Malibu Resort and prefer Malibu mainly because it is the only one with a pool should you not like sea swimming.

If you google Malibu Resort Koh Samed they have a web site.
