Actually the reports here, claim 2.4 million Thai's have internet access with 3.5 million projected in 2004, even so, that's still a small amount when at least half of the population of every thriving European country have Internet access.

It's be interesting to see figures on how many Thai's have bought / puchased online.

Does anyone have any other references for good usage statistics?

As a sidenote:  China has an internet filter, this would concern any e-commerce venture if the servers were located in China itself, as there would be issues such as,

a) how stable are the internet filters

Would your content be filtered or obscured in any way, shape or form
