Small motobike transport on train, No greenbook

Featured Replies

I am waiting for a green book transfer. Actually it will be in my gf name when transferred. But at the moment the book is gone as her house burned down. Is it possible to show greenbook copy's and my passport/ her ID to get my bike on the same train I am going down with to Hua Hin from Bangkok? Anyone.

P.s It's a 115cc Yamaha Fino.

Shouldn't be an issue.

OK thnx might ride over to Hua lampong tomorrow then. Why I asked was because I saw two other people writing on similar subject 2014. They said you both passport and green book to send the bike. BUT I was not sure it was a sending so to say, or if they got on the same train as the bike so.

Rules are subject to interpretation by whoever sells the ticket.

[hint, hint]

I'd prefer to ride the bike to Hua Hin. There is a beautiful road through the salt fields, once you have left the outskirts of Bangkok. Look up the 4012 on a map. (Ban Laem, Laem Phak Bia, Bang Kao, Cha Am, Hua Hin)

True, it is a nice route but on a Fino??? I did bkk-kan once on a pcx, never again. Thats my opinion at least... Or car or big bike but I didn't felt well on a pcx

But it shouldn't be a problem to bring the Fino by train, my friend did the same last year.

They have a new office at hua lamphong for foreigners where they speak good English, no worries tho, they charge the same prices as for Thai

Last time papa did the bike/train thing, the guy charged ~1200 B but gave me a receipt for B680.

I wonder what happened to the difference.
