Hi,

I'm trying to reinstall OSX on my macpro. I've got another computer so am doing a clean install.

Had used an older mac before this so was new to Apple ID. However, I set up an Apple ID when I got the computer as in case I needed it.

I read the Apple support notes before starting the clean install and it didn't say anything about use of the ID.

Situation now is that I followed their procedures and booted into recovery mode. I've then gone to disk utility and wiped the hard drive.

Then when I've gone to OSX reinstall and try to load it on the drive it says "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the appstore" and doesn't allow me to progress. I've logged in to Apple ID on my other computer (PC) presuming that was all that's required but it doesn't make any difference. I've never needed or used the appstore.

What do I do to resolve this?

Any help really appreciated

Thanks
