not sure if this is the correct forum

i will be using the wife's motor bike for a few weeks can anyone tell me what document's i have to carry in case i get stopped by the police i have my thai driving licence but what else

On a more serious note one could carry the green book and letter of insurance,as well as ensuring the tax is in date,other than that nothing I believe.

i was thinking maybe i might need a letter or something from wife saying im allowed to use it maybe they might think its stolen

Well a friend of mine who was married here but separated for a number of years to this day rides around on his motorbike registered in his wife's name.

He has never encountered a problem.

A quick call to your wife if stopped by the police and questioned regarding the owner will suffice.
