I currently have a True Online DOCSIS package that includes the "Happy Family HD" CATV package of channels. To upgrade to the next higher package ("Smart HD") is B200/month more. I'm wondering how many of the extra channels on Smart HD are in English:

TVB, GEM, H&F are the only ones which do not come in English.

As you should be able to guess from the names, most of the channels are U.S based and hence in English.

Many of the English channels come with dual audio, ie. you can select either English or Thai dubbing via your remote (should you have Thai speaking household members).

For the extra 4 movie channels alone, that's great value for money.

Thanks. Good to know the US-based ones aren't dubbed into Thai. Several years ago I subscribed to some cable package and all the presumably English channels like Animal Planet, Disney and others were dubbed in Thai with no multiple-choice language option.

Next time I wander down to the mall, I might stop by the True office and upgrade to the Smart HD package. I really have missed Bloomberg, especially the morning (East Coast time) shows.
