TOTAL HUMILIATION

This is proof positive that the first word creates the path to the future....and that the last word is usually just a whimper.

...and no secret mods around here... :o

On a different note:

just scrolled back two posts up, my conversation with Jet. Scary in hindsight, huh?

...and no secret mods around here... :o

It's the hidden rockers you have to watch. They make secret mods look like girl guides ( brown short skirts, badges the whole thing )

Will they wiggle my woggle? :o

Tell em you like Meat Loaf...............Anything, trust me anything for a quick chorus of bat out of hel-l.

Those Rockers are just so predictable.

Just watching the ladies world cup final (soccer). Germany won 2 - 0. They didn't concede a goal in the entire competition!

What a result!

ps Germany saved a penalty!

Girl guides...let me tell you....My first extended stay in Thailand I was invited to be a distinguished observer of a girl guides yearly encampment. I was a teacher working at a shool whose president was well connected politically so we got invited to all sorts of things (I once sat at the table with the governor of Nong Khai province at his birthday celebration dinner....and got up and sang karaoke for his entourage!!!...but that's another story) and a couple of us got to go to this encampment and sit up on the stage in big overstuffed chairs and watch the presentations and rituals...after which we (both faranag men)were asked to answer questions from the group...and of course the first question was if we were married....when each of us answered "no" the entire group which numbered probably two or three hundred at least shreaked in that shreak that only very very young adolescent or nearly adolescent girls can do...I swear it could break glass....and then they asked us if we had girl friends and when each of us answered "no"....they shreaked EVEN LOUDER....this was nearing the pain threshold....and then when they turned on the music and asked us to dance.....my god Thailand does not need a military....they only need the girl guides.

Sorry but the moderators here can not hold a candle to the girl guides.

Chownah

Interesting story there Chownah!

Being a head-banger on my crib (cage/prison!) from birth until about 1 1/2 years of age, my parents understandably became concerned, as I didn't speak a WORD. Other than inchoate whimpers, whines, and bawling. They finally decided a trip to the Stanford Medical Center, in Palo Alto California was in order, as they were beginning to feel they had an autistic child on their hands. Full battery of tests, with inconclusive results.

A few months later, I'm sitting in my grandma's lap, as granddad is driving. We come to a red light. He stops. The light turns green. I say:

"Gammer, we go now!". My first word was a sentence......and I haven't shut up, since then! :o

we would like to know more about that story, Chownah...after the dancing, details, pictuers...you know what! :o
