All I know is that when you go through the International entry/Immigration gate for departing passengers at Swampy, you then have to walk a mile past God knows how many expensive horseshit shops before you can find a place to eat. Were I peckish for Gucci handbags I'd be fine.

Absolutely. The FA (or whichever League organisation is regulating) are going to look so bluddy stupid now if they start trying to apply sanctions back to their promotion season 2013-14. At worst a fine I would guess.

What did they expect when they agreed that a Thai company would be a fit and proper person to run a League club?

I guess Leicester are going to have no problems finding a stadium naming rights sponsor now. They can jetison their small-time Mr fixer now too.

PS - I may not be an enthusiast of Arsenal's investor, but I'll grant that "Silent Stan" Kroenke is not a leveraged buy-out cowboy. Not unless he is so devious that the accounts of the club (which I read annually) are a tissue of lies. Not even a cowboy, by all accounts, except to the extent he hails from Missouri which is just bordering on/gateway to traditional Wild West country and seems to favour Western state teams, like the Denver Broncos and St Louis Rams, which he's trying to reposition in LA**!

I guess if you are worth US$ 8 billion (Forbes 2016)* you can't knock his business approach - I do cos it's conservative and that's not want us supporters like - it's no surprise he doesn't need to borrow money to buy in!

*excluding at least one NFL franchise owned by his son, reportedly to get around NFL anti-concentration rules

** occurs to me that maybe the Thai owners will wish to reposition the Foxes to somewhere a bit more trendy, like South West London, in due course, if their success holds up awhile. Nice new stadium in Richmond-on-Thames area, good source of overpaids to buy the debentures from the leafy stockbroker belt etc; loads-a-money in the Putney, Wimbledon, Barnes triangle. It emerged from the Hillsborough Independent Panel enquiry in September 2012 that Richards, who was the Chairman of Sheffield Wednesday from March 1990 to February 2000, had refused to put up a memorial at Hillsborough, on legal advice, for the 96 Liverpool supporters that died on 15 April 1989 in the Hillsborough disaster (David Conn at The Guardian)

^Be interesting what the legal advice had in mind. Surely a simple memorial recording the sad event couldn't have been a political timebomb but purely a record and a mark of respect from SWFC.
