TRIPOLI: -- Libyan security forces have detained more than 200 migrants in an early morning raid on two hideouts in the capital, Tripoli.

Who are they?

Mostly young men
from various African countries
planning to board boats to Italy

Why is there so much concern?

The International Organisation for Migration says almost 6,000 refugees and migrants have sailed from Libya to Italy in recent days.

The organisation has warned it could be the start of a wave of 100,000 new arrivals and “possibly many, many more”.

The shorter, relatively safer route via Greece has been blocked.

Austria is also preparing to block unhindered travel over its border with Italy.

2015 – 153, 842 migrants arrived in Italy
2015 – 1,000,000 migrants arrived in Greece

What they are saying

“We raided two migrant hideouts in Tripoli and detained 203 illegal migrants from various African countries that were preparing to leave Libya to Europe’s shores” – Libyan security official.

We're victims, and they're beneficiaries, of the political correctness brigade who give legitimacy to the hordes, mostly muslims, INVADING European countries, by calling them 'immigrants'.

We will pay a heavy price for permitting the trickle to become a torrent.

They will have to get off Sicily first but, Italy shares 4 land borders with Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, and of course the weak link in "theChain" - France. The horde have little chance of crossing into the former 3 countries mentioned but France will be under pressure to keep its border open. I hope they prevail and keep it closed. I wonder what the French would think if they knew how Islam views them from the Muslim perspective. Here is paraphrased quote of how Islamic history is taught about Sala-din's reaction on retaking Jerusalem from the Franks (French): It was not, however, desirable to enter into any close relations with the Franks, who are seen through Muslim eyes as emerging from the fog and perpetual winter of the unflavoured lands of the Ptolemaic sixth clime, and were consequently savage, treacherous, and filthy (both literally and metaphorically). They brought with them only pollution. Here is the context for Saladin's elaborate washing of the Dome of the Rock with rose water after his recapture of Jerusalem. - See more at: http://www.historytoday.com/malcolm-barber/crusades-islamic-perspectives#sthash.osdMzeN6.dpuf

I have said before Muslims don't know our perspective of history only what they believe and are taught about us - and it ain't good.

Maybe it's Karma at work. Most of them seem to be coming from countries invaded and exploited by Europeans during the time when nearly every European country had it's African and Asian "empire."

Likely to be an accurate description at the time

This is the view from one perspective but another may be Reunion, Guadalupe, Martinique,

French Polynesia, etc, etc, are far better of now under the French than Haiti, and the African

colonies that are now independent. All have representation in French government and none

have a serious independence movement. If any were to vote for independence France would

grant it. Not a PC thing to say but most if not all of the African countries that were colonies

would benefit from a much less corrupt European governance. Africa's biggest problems are

routed in corruption and tribalism, not the European exploitation of generations past. Of course

now it is blacks exploiting blacks, tribal racism not skin colour racism, and the western world is

silent because of its history of black exploitation. At least that is the way I see it. wai.gif

And we were invaded by The Romans , the Norsemen ,the French , even the Germans tried it a few years ago , so give it a rest with the "The invading and exploiting" we fought them off now its just another "invasion" that has to be repulsed .

Currently breaking news.

Several hundred migrants are believed to have died after four boats capsized in the Mediterranean.

Italy's president, Sergio Mattarella, said there had been a "migrant tragedy", as unverified reports suggested the vast majority of those on board the vessels were Somalis, trying to cross the sea from Egypt.

More follows...

Time to send reinforcements to Italy.

And guess what.

Many of those Countries fought long, hard and bloody to free themselves.

Does not seem to be working out too well for them.
