Long term parking at Utapao?

I'm heading north and I'm thinking about just riding my bike to the airport and leaving it there for one or two weeks. Do you guys know if there is secure parking?

I get the impression it’s not that kind of airport because it’s part of a military facility and maybe they don’t want members of the public leaving their vehicles there.

Anyway why would you want to when you can get free transportation if you are travelling on Kan Air and a cheap price if you are on air Asia with a minibus leaving directly outside Central Festival Beach Road.

Thanks, I read that thread but it went a bit off topic. I guess I'll just get down there and see what happens. I'm going with AirAsia at 8am and I can't find out anything about their minivan. Also, I can't leave my motorbike for more than a day in Central, can I?

Okay, seems there actually is a minibus with AirAsia (about 200 Baht extra for the ticket price). Maybe I just leave my bike in Central Festival. Or not a good idea?

I have parked my car at utapao airport for a few days, I think it was about 50 baht a day, cannot remember if there was any bikes parked there but was not really looking. It would be pretty secure because it would take a brave thief to steal your bike from inside a military airport the carpark is quite big the covered parking is limited.
