Non-thai Windows Os / Garbled Thai Text

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

The g/f has got a great new laptop with her new job. Trouble is, she's using an non-Thai OS that was factory installed in Singapore. As a result, any Thai application that uses Thai fonts (specifically the ThaiSoftware dictionary) are appearing garbled. More details in the attached screenshot.

We've installed Thai language support from the regional options in the control panel but to no avail. Any suggestions from here? Responses very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Try View> Encoding > Thai

Thanks for the suggestion Farma, but this is with Windows applications, not when browsing websites. Browsing works fine with all Thai fonts installed BTW.

Didn't do what was listed on the second set of steps (1-5) on the "Advanced"

tab. Will try it later.

Thanks for the heads up Katana!
