Love the full drop forward mounted mudflaps .. A bit like meeting a UFO having this heading towards you at night I should imagine .. 

How mental can you be sometimes .. 

Has the turning circle of a supertanker with withering rear axle ( s ) tyre wear .. This sort of combination is usually best suited to long straight motorway type hauling ..

A late 70's Fiat Mirafiora  2 door 2000 Twin Cam .. Was Fiat's answer to the Ford RS2000 of the day and quite a quick car that was also competition'ed in rallying , circuit racing etc .. Ones sold in the UK were available in a full on tango orange and limited Abarth tuned versions were also available .. Fetch good money now if you can find a good one ..

Yep thats the baby .. Super engine and gearbox these had but they rusted like no tomorrow .. 

Have a look at the radiator grille and the four  lights;

looks like what was made on the Alfa Romeo 1600, 1750 & 2000  GTV ;

I had one red 1750 GT in years 1978/84 when I was a trucker

Arches and tailgate hint at 60,s'ish styling 'till you get to the front end .. Looker it is not .. But gets you noticed in that colour scheme .. 

Recently I visited the ‘Jesada Technik Museum’.

 

On display is a large private collection of vintage rare cars and motorbikes. The museum can be found in Nakorn Pathom. Use google maps for exact location. The place has no access with public transportation.

 

The museum was created by a successful Thai businessman named Jesada Deshsakulrith. His passion for automobile history and heritage led him to collect more than 500 vehicles, most of which are in perfect condition. He only started this surprising collection in 1997 and it finally opened to the public in 2007.

 

When visiting I saw many cars from the time I was much younger than now. I think it’s worth a visit.

 

I made too many pictures but will show here only a few (ad random) and maybe some more in a next post.

I use to have that exact same mid '60 model, just in the longer 109" model. We drove it from Europe through Turkey, Iran and Pakistan all the way to India. All the body work is aluminium and will last forever. Nice paint job.

woo hoo!   what aircraft are there these days at Jesada?

There is a helicopter and a small plane. I did not make pictures. There are also two or three hoover-craft type of vessels. Not sure if the latter classifies as aircraft.

I felt sort of sad at Jesada. It's like a big pile of cars, cars that could use good homes!

The new car of my eldest daughter ( 31 y old ) ; she is a civil servant and a doctor.
