Kaeng Krachan national park provided tankers of water to tackle drought

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, 19 May 2016 (NNT) – Kaeng Krachan National Park head Kamol Nuanyai said droughts have severely affected Kaeng Krachan national park’s La-Ou and Deng forests since the last few months.

He said that Kaeng Krachan national park needed five tankers of water for its wildlife with water of over 200,000 liters to fill the natural pond and kept over 250 elephants from wandering off the national park area in search of water.

Without rain in late May, Kaeng Krachan national park will have to find tankers of water to help its wildlife again.
