Hydro Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 I recently bought a new MacBook Pro 13in going on almost 4 months ago. I bought it for like 57k baht and am willing to sell it for like 47k baht. I've posted it on Bangkok craigslist but it's nothing but scammers all day that contact me. What's the best place to sell it?
richard_smith237 Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Thai Visa Classifieds... Baht and Sold... Facebook (your own page)... Facebook (Desperately Seeking - https://www.facebook.com/groups/DSBKK/) Go to Panthip or Fortune and try to sell it to a vendor (you'll probably get much less though)
xen Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Can't you take it to a Apple shop to sell and they will then on-sell it as a refurbished Mac Book Pro. Don't know what they will offer .
impulse Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 First thing I'd do is check to see the best price you can get today for the same model. Just because it cost you 57K a few months ago doesn't mean it would cost a diligent shopper 57K today. 47K may be reasonable, or it may not. Though I haven't a clue about that model, I'm always amazed at some of the Thai asking prices of used computers by sellers who think their obsolete computer (they may have overpaid for when they bought it) is still worth more than today's new cost an equally powered and featured unit.

Wise words.
sniffdog Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Depends on the model. But Apple's prices seem to be stable in the first year. Thai visa classifieds is a good way, but it attracts Suhukvit soi 13 dealers and wheelers.
Hydro Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 My model is the one here: 256GB SSD, 2015 model.
