Trees to be Relocated From New Reservoir Build

CityNews – Chiang Mai University has agreed to move the trees found at Tart Chompoo Creek and replant them at a new plantation while the land at Tart Chompoo Creek will be turned into a new reservoir.

The planned reservoir will displace 283 trees, most of which will be planted at the Ford Plantation, outside the 40 years dormitory and 22 trees in other places around the university.

Is this Just like the trees on 1317 highway that were moved with little expectation they will live yet alone thrive, but stops complaints about them being cut down.
