June 8, 20169 yr Hopefully somebody can help me. My elderly father in law who is living with us has been treated for throat cancer and needs full time care from somebody. (Thai person) Due to the operation and treatment he has now a nose feeding probe and is in a general fragile state as you can imagine. He can go around in a wheel chair as he can't walk very far but he is not bedridden and is crazy of his poodle dog. Unfortunately my wife and I ware not in a position to take of everything full time as we have a busy business and are away quite a lot. He has a separate house on our premises and we are looking for somebody we can take care for him on a full time basis. We live close to the market and can provide free cost and living and pay a salary off-course. She/He don't have to be a qualified nurse but somebody who can and wants to take care and watch over him. As my father in law is returning in the beginning of September the person has to be available starting from September or earlier. Worst care scenario would be a nursing home but the only information i can find for Phuket is for foreigners and not Thai. This is not what we want but if there is no other option then we don't have a choice. Again if somebody has some information about a good nursing home (probable not a government run nursing home) it would be much appreciated.
