Hi,

AIS basic packages (15/5 - 20/7) get shared ip but with port forwarding and internal dynamic dns. True online gives shared IP to some users and no port forwarding capabilities. TOT probably has lots of spare IPv4 blocks so I still get dynamic IP on ADSL (in village).

What about 3BB? Anybody get shared IP? Is there carrier grade NAT system for cheaper package users (or just random?) at 3bb?

I remember port 80 being blocked by default but it is not important.

it seems I have a shared IP address. today, it is 100.87.103.185

hope it helps.

I discovered this fact today as I have trouble to set a full node bitcoin core which can accept inbound connections.

I don t know if it is possible with this "shared" IP address.

if someone has the answer, you are welcome.

thanks.

if you call 3bb callcenter and tell them to remove you from cgnat, they do it.

atleast my thai wife managed to get us off cgnat very easy. not sure for english speaking call center staff.

I don't know what's a shared IP, as I only know dynamic and static IP, but with 3BB I have a static IP for about 3 months already.

Yet there is something not right.

My IP stays the same all the time, though Craigslist had blacklisted my IP and it was not blacklisted any more a few days later. My understanding is that Craigslist never removes an IP from the blacklist, so they must somehow see something different from a few days earlier.

My IP also locates me some time in Khon Kaen and other times elsewhere, but the IP always stays the same.
