Five Villages Destroyed After Flash Flood Hits Mae Wang District

CityNews – Five villages were destroyed after a flash flood from the Mae Moot waterway broke through defenses.

During the early morning of June 30, a flash flood destroyed a total of 30 houses and two bridges, the Mae Moot Bridge and the Mae Yuak Bridge, throughout five villages in the Mae Wang district.

Electrical items, household appliances, bikes and cars were destroyed by the flood.

Sounds perhaps like a euphemism for a dam or weir collapse: "after a flash flood from the Mae Moot waterway broke through defenses".

So Mae's moot had an lot of water coming out hey? thumbsup.gif ( Moot being another Aussie term for pussy in case you did not know.) On a serious note I hope the affected people can get their live back together quickly and as a painlessly as possible.
