Meet expats in Pak Chong/Khao Yai

Featured Replies

I retired last week and will finally be able to settle down at our home near Khao Yai.

I'm interested to meet any expats in the area.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Bump...  5 months, you've probably made a few contacts in PC already but...what the hell.

Friend of mine in our Korat social group just finished and moved into a house in an otherwise obscure,  small town called Nong Nam Sai, not terribly far from Pak Chong area.   Our social group has been down there several times over the past year, stay 1 or 2 nights at a really nice resort called Palm Lodge.  Expat behind the place is from Oz, retired engineer/business type, friendly/open, good conversationalist, think he's mid-60's.

Anyway, he's got an informal expat golf group, if you're into that.  They go on mini road trips around the area to play and sometimes organize a boys night out in Pak Chong.

Here's Palm Lodge's FacePlant page with Google map function.   Not much to Nong Nam Sai itself, the resort is the proverbial diamond in the rough, I just really like the place.
