Prachuap Khiri Khan governor instructs all relevant agencies to be on alert for floods and landslides in risk areas

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, 4 July 2016 (NNT) – The governor of the Prachuap Khiri Khan province has instructed the relevant agencies to be on alert for floods and landslides in risk areas of all districts.


Prachuap Khiri Khan Governor Thawee Narissirikul disclosed that he has instructed all districts and local administrative organizations to brace for floods and landslides, due to the increased amount of rain in province during the rainy season. Risk areas along foothills and waterways are to be handled with extra precaution.

He has also instructed officials to prepare equipment to swiftly assist the affected public. Requests call the Hotline 1784 and request for assistance 24 hours a day.
