UTTARADIT, 9 July 2016 (NNT) – The northern province of Uttaradit has beefed up its PR campaign for the upcoming draft charter referendum, deploying 150 Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) students in its door-to-door information strategy.

Uttaradit deputy governor Weerachai Phupiangjai launched the PR activity at the community center. The volunteer students from 13 schools were briefed on the contents of the draft charter and the voting procedure. They are to visit different communities to publicize the referendum and invite residents to cast their ballots on 7th August.

ROTC students will also facilitate voters at the polls. More than 700 Uttaradit people living in other provinces have registered to vote outside their constituencies. Uttaradit expects to see a turnout of 80 percent. The community center will be the polling station.
