Quote Button not Working.

Featured Replies

The new setup looks promising, maybe I am overlooking something, but I tried to quote a post, and instead

of being able to quote that post, my quote from a previous post comes up.

Seems to work.

Did you by any chance played around with the + button (next to quote) ?

Or (maybe) used copy / paste ? (just guessing here)

No, I don't think so, but I know there will be a few problems until everything settles down. Thanks.

Only thing I noticed is that if you do use the + button to quote it will only quote the original,  any additional quotes that may have been included in the post are lost

In the past, when you used the "quote" function your post showed everything in the quote, including other quotes

The way around this new limitation is to hit the + and open the "multi quote" option

The new way is how I expect the multi-quote function to work. There must be no nested quotes in multi-quote.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Exactly, but this way it really "could" disrupt a discussion. But time will tell how it works out.
