Featured Replies

Can you recommend a live streaming channel to watch the Rio olympics?

I cant bear another pathetic BBC news repeat of 'still shots' coverage (London olympics).

thanks

I think the only option is to sign up for a months free trial with 365sport.

I have just received 6 (24hr) deadicated channels although I have prescribed I have been told there also on the free trial offer.

Hope this helps.

It's blacked out during the Olympics.

Try this with Hola, Surfeasy or other any other decent VPN, it was working fine for me http://tvplayer.com/watch/bbcone just make sure you are going through UK.

Nope. Not even with a VPN.

"Channel is not available during the Olympics 2016 due to blackout restrictions".

NBC Sports has live streaming of all Olympic sports with VPN.

As long as you have a US  account and can prove it:

They have full coverage of the BBC red button services. They are offering "Rio2016 Free". Whether that means free to existing subscribers or to anyone just signing up, I don't know. But you could subscribe for a short period if that is necessary.

Not a very useful list for people that live in Thailand, is it?

Very useful if you have say Kodi TV and live in Thailand  (free tv from people like www.jsat.tv) and can see most of them perfectly here in Thailand ..

What about Thai TV channels :  nothing on Channel 3 (or 33?) as was the case with Euro 2016 Football?

The Olympics broadcasts must be available in Thailand. The young man that won a bronze medal in weightlifting had his grandmother die from a heart attack while watching it in a village in Surin province.

Expat TV has added 6 additional channels specifically to cover the Olympic events.

I installed Fusion and then I installed the Castaway repository under Fusion. It's 5 AM In Rio right now so I am going to test it in a few hours whn the streams start. It looks like I can get Olympic coverage with Castaway.

OK. I followed this and got some links working...

I'll see what I can do with the Castaway add-on...

Edit:

I've already got the Phoenix video add-on installed and Castaway repository.

Terminology and hierarchy is a bit confusing for me.

Life's too short to spend the amount of time it takes to find Kodi streams that work, and then find another one a week later when they stop working. Just pay a few quid for a decent VPN and stream from a proper source. I'm watching the BBC coverage right now.

Yes, me too. Just watched that Phelps bloke win a race, but it's a bit jerky and buffers occasionally - certainly not acceptable if I was paying for it.

OK, so what VPN do you use and how do you get the "proper sources"?

Which specific channel on ZemTV did you see the Olympics?

Never mind, I just found women's voleyball on Bein Sports 10 under Pi sports
