Hey all,

 

I guess MP3 players aren't really in style much anymore, but I prefer to use one when jogging, or rather than draining my phone's battery. Seems like a separate device to me.

 

Anyway, my Sony got destroyed on the beach and I'll be in BKK for a few days. Need to pick up a reliable one. I'm down for a new Sony Walkman if anyone knows where to get one, or happy ot hear of any other recommendations. Where and what!

I am a bit old skool as well and still use an MP3 player. i have had a Sony Walkman NWZ-B183F for the last year or so and have had no problems with it at all. All i did was change the headset to one with less volume restriction.....................

I've had good luck with Sandisk players in the past but it has been a while.

My circumstances are a little different. I love Audible books and had to find a player that was capable of playing that format. I looked in many places and had no luck. I'm certainly NOT an Apple fan but the only player I found was an iPod. It works in both my car and truck and plays the music or books through the stereo systems. It is an excellent little device other than having to use the overly complicated iTunes. I suppose most people like the tiny size but I would prefer that it be bigger.

When I walk I do not use earphones due to needing to be aware of Soi dogs, traffic etc.

 

Does anyone know of a player with a speaker please?

 

Currently using my phone but it depletes the battery quickly.
