Ipl Laser In Bangkok, Acne Treatment

Featured Replies

Hi,

Ive been walking around for nearly two weeks now trying to figure out the best treatment for my acne scars. So far I found IPL is the method of choice, but prices vary considerably and so do the name of the Lasers: Theyve got Cool Touch III, Smoothbeam or Plasmalite, all claiming to be better. Some say treatment takes fifteen minutes some say one hour. Confusing. Plus one place says for best results I should combine with the "Dermaroller".

Has anybody got ideas regarding this topic?

cheers

How severe are the scars? Also, how much downtime can you afford? The smoothbeam or Nlite laser treatments causes underlying collagen production which will eventually fill the scars. It is not something you will see right away. Fractal laser skin resurfacing is another option but again you will not see results right away. I believe all of these require multiple treatments.

CO2 laser resurfacing or multiple chemical peels are usually the best option if you can really take some time off. The first two weeks will probably be the worst, but you will be red, then pink for a few months afterwards.

If you have deep ice-pick type scars, don't expect to see dramatic results with any treatment short of scar excision and dermabrasion.
