Visa run out and in at Malaysian border. Any problems experienced?

Featured Replies

I need to do the 90 days visa run on my multiple entry non O. I am going to the Malaysia border as no visa fees.

A while back there was a debate about people not being allowed to just leave and come straight back in.

Has anyone experienced not being allowed to cross the border and return straight away on the Malaysian border using the train, RECENTLY?

Thanks.

It depends upon which crossing you you go to.

Sadao  may tell you that you have to stay overnight.

Padang Besar is better.

Sadao will not let you leave and enter on the same day - was refused - told "cannot, 24 hours need"
