Stealing for fun – 17 year old man arrested at 7-11 store.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Santi from Pattaya Police station was called to a 7-Eleven Convenience Store in Soi Diana Inn, Central Pattaya in the early hours of Thursday Morning after staff reported an attempted theft from the shop.

Police arrived and spoke with one of the suspected thieves aged only 17. His accomplice managed to escape before Police arrived. Staff mentioned that they saw the men place CD’s inside their shoulder bag and made no attempt to pay for the goods before they left the shop.

Police arrested the young man who explained that he committed the theft with his friend for a bit of fun and meant no harm. Police decided to allow the young man to pay for the CD’s and no charges were brought against him.
