Lan cable & Crimping tool?

Featured Replies

Good evening all

Looking a place in Pattaya to buy  CAT 5-e or Cat 6 Cable, plugs & CRIMPING tool.  The place in Tukom that sold all, seems to be gone, like so many others  :-)

Thank you.  MS>

Amorn Electronic stores usually have them.   Amorn stores are common in or close to a Lotus mall (or at least here in Bangkok they are).

Thank you. Did not think of this....Will try tomorrow @ Tukom basement then.

I've seen the loose plugs in Thai Watsudu. So it's a fair bet that they have the crimping tool also.

A lot of the shops that where in Tukcom have moved to the Harbor Mall on  Central road next to Foodland

I saw at least 2  places that specialised in networking  equipment when I went there.

I saw crimping tools in one of the open front shops (with all the parts stacked on the floor) on the computer floor at Harbor Mall yesterday.

You can get Cat6 cable at an electric supply store just 50M east of the east of the bus station on Pattaya Nua. 300M box, but will cut to your length. Be sure to get the right plugs for the wire used,  stranded or solid wire.

Hmm. As of yesterday evening Thai Watsudu had the crimping tools (two models, apparently quite solid but not cheap) but they didn't have the loose plugs.
