Hi,

I have stayed on Samui a few times but it was during May-August. This year I will be luckily escaping Ireland for Christmas and plan to be on Samui around mid-late December. Is the situation alot different regarding tourist numbers and is accomodation difficult to find?

Lots of people are saying pre-book everything but I cant see me not being able to find accomodation with a bit of shopping around.

Thanks

Ive been at different times of the year, including xmas on several occasions and never book and ive never had a problem finding decent accomodation.

Might be an idea booking for the first night, as you probably know, it aint fun walking around with you luggage trying to find somewhere.

Enjoy. Ive just got back from there a month ago and plan to go for Songkran. :o Only 18wks to go!!!!! :D

Try and ask more information from Tony and Tuula at Moby dick guesthouse.

Tony is a cool Irish guy and they run with his Finnish wife Tuula an Irish / Finnish guesthouse middle of a chaweng.

Not sure of address or numbers, but can easily find with google search!!

For your Dinners why not: www.sibelius-samui.com
