The opening ceremony for a new Probation Center for Prachuab Khirikhan in Hua Hin, has been chaired by the Prachuab Khirikhan Governor Dr. Thawee Narissirikul, including a report delivered by Mrs. Nanthanit Trithep, the Director of the Department of Probation (DoP) in Hua Hin. Among the distinguished guests was the deputy mayor of Hua Hin Ms. Phailin Kongphan, Inspector General of DoP; Dr. Angkhana Bunsit, the chief judge of Hua Hin Court; Mr. Mana Chaiyanto, the Attorney General of the Prachuab Khirikhan Supreme Court Mr. Sanpetch Trithep, as well as the specialised Attorney General Mr. Ronarong Wutthikul. The Center is located in the Bon Kai area, west of the railway in Hua Hin. It started its work on 1st July 2016. Its aim is principally to facilitate legal and justice issues, apart from its main mission to investigate and manage the rehabilitation of offenders, non-custodial treatment of offenders, implementing community based alternatives to imprisonment well as rehabilitating drug addicts.
