BANGKOK: -- Pictures of a street noodle vendor cleaning the dishes in the floodwaters on Monday look like landing the lady in the hot water she should have used!

Pictures appeared on Facebook of the vendor cleaning the bowls and an urn with many commenting on how dirty it was to do such a thing, reports Thairath.

It happened in front of the Mor Chit 2 bus station in northern Bangkok.

Now the Jatujak municipality have got wind of the story and are sending out a team to find the woman. A spokesman said it may not be the greatest crime but in the eyes of the public it was very wrong.

They will be paying the woman a visit to give her a warning and perhaps a fine when they get to the bottom of why she was using the floodwaters.

I think now we all know the secret ingredient that makes street food tasty..

Why all the fuss? At least she was using running water  :clap2::clap2:

It wasn't floodwater, it was just water waiting to be drained.

Wonder if one can catch some fish in that water? Can make a good fish stew one the side of the road...

When caught, the woman maintained she was just filling buckets to wash off the sidewalk.

Why didn't you mention in Rarotonga in the late 80's someone peed in the ocean?

Expensive food..........you don't get what you pay for!!

Maybe it was just a pre-rinse, and she was going to wash them properly later?
