Does anybody know if you can play poker online in thailand?what would the situation with the law be with this?would it be against the law if any funds won went to your address in your home country?

Apparently you aren't allowed to use online gambling from within the country. Nor can you advertise or advocate it. For that reason this topic may not stick around. You'll probably find the sites advertising or hosting online gambling being blocked on a regular basis.

I'm waiting for the day there is a news skit on iTV with 50+ boys on brown doing a raid, only to find one plump ferrang playing Texas Holdem online in a hotel room on a laptop.......

(Not implying anything like, but i LOL at the "raids" aired sometimes).

As has been indicated, discussion of illegal matters is against forum rules and the OP has his answer.
