Immigration Dept. Singburi

Featured Replies

For the past few years I have done the Immigration  paper work at Lopburi. To day my 90 day report was due and on the off chance before leaving home, rang the Lopburi office to see if the Singburi branch had opened. Good news it has.

It is at Wat  Phranon Chaksi. Easy to find. The Temple is about 4 kms from Singburi township, on the road leading to Tha Karm. Everybody in Singburi knows this Temple. About 100 meters down the  road leading to the temple, there is a roundabout.  Go into the roundabout and it is just as you get half way round. Well signposted.

Interesting. When I first came here in 1997, I went down to Bangkok for all  my Immigration paper work. Crowds of people and staff. Then started going to Ayuttha when that office opened, staff of 2 which in a couple of years grew to 10, then they split the provinces into smaller groups so had to use Lopburi, small pokey office staff of 4 which grew to 12 plus and a new purpose built building. Today at the Singburi office dealing with only Singburi residents staff of 7. No unemployment in Thailand ... they all work at Immigration.

Sorry don't know the GPS, but phone is 036 510960.

Cheers,

BAYBOY
