PRIME Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha is concerned about the flooding in Phetchaburi province and has instructed officials to take care of people affected by the crisis, after the area was swamped by heavy discharge from dams.

Government Spokesman Maj- General Sansern Kaewkamnerd said the prime minister had told agencies to quickly deliver aid to victims. That included setting up barriers to prevent water intruding onto their properties or evacuations when needed.

Sansern said the Phetchaburi governor gave Prayut an update on the situation yesterday and the Agriculture Ministry would soon explain a water-management plan to the public.

The Boss:

" Where did all that water come from??  Man!  I'm glad I'm not down there!  Okay.  Here I go again.  This is getting old.  Time to express concern.

I want all you people who are supposed to be doing a job to start to do your jobs.  I'm very concerned.

All right then.  All sorted.    What's next up? "

Right after the floods recede and the rains end.

Meanwhile I'm thinking hip boots, dingies, jet skis, water polo, backdoor fishing, front yard alligator wrestling. Maybe TAT can promote a Flood Festival.

army has had over 2 years to fix yinglucks miss managed flood management programs. wonder if they are still pressing charges against her over the floods.

Wasn't three an assurance recently that this wouldn't happen this year ?

Where I live when the water goes off nobody calls the waterman to rest the pump ,only me ,I was going somewhere for 3 days and just before leaving the water went off ,I didn't bother calling and when I came back it was still off ,I called the waterman and 30 minutes later we had water ,the idiots in the villiage don't like to disturb him so the go without water .the point is why someone not speak to someone at the dam and tell them what's happening and if they did someone should lose their job for this ,but this is LOS the land of stupid

why is he worried? he doesn't live there does he?

Well, according to my lady who's a Petchaburite, it's a pro-government, or at least anti-Thaksin, area. Also, they have a bit of a reputation for hit-men. So he probably doesn't want to upset them.
